Kathy & Ragavan’s Wedding

Kathy & Ragavan put on the most incredible two day wedding at Bore Place in Sevenoaks. This has to be one of my favourite weddings I have ever photographed.

Day one was all about embracing Ragavan’s Sri Lankan heritage with a Tamil Ceremony. The ceremony was held in a beautiful Marquee. The Manavari was decorated beautifully with lovely flowers from @floristintheforest . There was so much colour it was a joy to photograph. After the ceremony we tucked into a delicious Sri Lankan Buffet before the sax player started the party!

On Day two Kathy & Rag had a traditional humanist wedding. The emotions were running high so many happy tears and smiles from start to finish. Every part of their wedding was filled with personal touches, from heartfelt private vows to the surprise ring bearers and let’s not forgetting Joey Tribbiani’s iconic wedding speech featuring in the ceremony “It is a love based on giving and receiving, as well as having and sharing.” (Yes, Kathy’s Friends obsession is very real!). If I ever throw a party, Kathy is definitely on the guest list she brought the energy and lit up the dance floor!

Kathy and Rag, I honestly can’t put into words how much fun I had spending the weekend with you. It was such a beautiful few days, and you made me feel so welcome. I truly felt like part of the family. Thank you for everything!
