Sophie & Luke’s wedding at The Bell in Ticehurst

The Bell in Ticehurst was the venue for Sophie & Luke’s big day and I was so pleased that they asked me to be their wedding photographer. It was my first time photographing a wedding at The Bell and I instantly feel in love with its quirky and unique decor. From the start the couple and all their guests were so welcoming and I knew it was going to be an amazing wedding. Sophie arrived at the ceremony in an classic volkswagon campervan and her dad got so emotional as they walked down the aisle. After the ceremony and a delicious wedding breakfast everyone was welcomed by the sounds of the Oompah brass band. They brought so much energy and got everyone singing along and dancing to old classics with an Oompah twist. The energy carried on through late into the evening with the interactive DJ. Once the day finally came to an end the guests headed out into the bitter cold to toast marshmellows over a log fire. What a way to end the day! I hope you enjoy seeing my favourite images from the day and I hope to be back at The Bell soon.

“We're so glad we found Tom! Tom was our wedding photographer in April 2023. From the first meeting we knew he was the guy for us. Our early meetings were lovely, where he really got to know us and our dreams for our big day. On the day he was unreal; always smiling, always in the right place at the right time, yet somehow never in the way. Our guests loved him, and he did well to swerve the offers of shots and him being brought in to dance with us! We think his experience in photographing wildlife probably came in handy for capturing our wild guests (!) We would recommend Tom to anyone.”
