I had the pleasure of capturing Catherine & Oliverās wedding at Cecil Sharp House. The couple held their ceremony at St Giles-in-the-Fields Church before heading to Cecil Sharp House for their evening celebrations.
This wedding was an absolute joy from start to finish. This day was packed full of happiness and emotion. The evening ceilidh had everyone dancing right until the very end of the night.

Why I love Cecil Sharp House as a Wedding Photographer?
This venue is so unique and a documentary photographerās dream! What catches my eye the most is the huge mural painted across Kennedy Hall (the main event space). The colours and patterns are incredibly eye-catching and add real depth to wedding images. The spaces throughout the venue are perfect for documentary-style wedding photography.

The courtyard garden is the perfect place to host your drinks reception. The main room itself creates stunning imagery during the wedding breakfast and really comes to life during the evening dancefloor celebrations.
Thereās plenty of space for a barn dance or ceilidh, making it ideal if youāre planning a larger wedding. The venue can accommodate up to 200 wedding guests.
Cecil Sharp House is also perfectly located as its just moments from Regentās Park and Primrose Hill, and only a five-minute walk from the centre of Camden, making it incredibly accessible for anyone looking to get married in London.
Cecil Sharp House
Cecil Sharp House is a purpose-built arts centre dedicated to the traditional arts, such as music, song, dance, storytelling, and so much more. Most significantly, it has been the heart of folk dance and song in England since it opened in 1930. It was the first dedicated folk arts centre in the UK and was built as a memorial to Cecil Sharp himself, who died in 1924.
