Why I love Maidstone as a wedding Photographer?
Maidstone is the town county of Kent and a very popular place to get married. It has so many wedding venues on offer which can be found right in the city centre or in the rural areas surrounding this vibrant town. I often photograph in Maidstone.
Maidstone has a very special place in my heart. My partner Sydney was born and raised in this amazing town. I would spend the weekends visiting her and exploring everything Maidstone has to offer. We had our first date at Maidstone's Hollywood Bowl, sometimes we would do some shopping at Fremlin Walk Shopping Centre and a leisurely stroll around Mote Park. We also love nature and we would spend our Sunday's hiking to Boxley through the Kent Downs and then rewarding ourselves with a yummy lunch at the King's Arm's Pub. Maidstone also has great links to London so on the odd occasion we would catch the train to the city for a day out.
Maidstone has so much variety. Not only can you get married in the heart of this bustling town in Kent at venues like The Orangery, Oakwood House, Stone Court House Hotel & Weddings, Archbishop's Palace and The Orchard. Maidstone is surrounded by the stunning Kent Downs countryside (area of outstanding natural beauty) which contains lots of rural wedding venues such as The Dreys, Edenwood Place, Nettlestead Place, The Lost Village of Dode, The Gardens Yalding, Chilston Park Hotel and of course the iconic Leeds Castle. There is a huge variety of wedding venues to choose from in Maidstone to suit every Bride & Groom.

I photograph weddings in a documentary style, which means I capture the moments of your special day in a natural and unobtrusive way. I believe the best photos always come when people are unaware of the camera and are 100% themselves.
Weddings should be a celebration for the bride and groom and not a long boring photo shoot. I like to blend into the day as much as possible and hopefully I will feel like one of your guests.
I won’t be showing up with multiple tripods, huge telephoto lenses or light stands. Instead, I carry just two Canon cameras attached to each hip, allowing me to stay lightweight and move swiftly to capture all the natural moments of your wedding.
All I ask is that you and your wedding party enjoy yourselves! I will make sure I am in the right place at the right time to capture all the action at your wedding!
