Wildlife Photography Workshops

The UK has so much wildlife on offer, you just have to know the right places to find it. Whether you are a beginner looking to start wildlife photography as a hobby, or an experienced enthusiast looking to improve their portfolio with a particular species. I would love to hear from you.  Check out the list of wildlife workshops I currently have available.

Seal Photography Workshop

Come along to the beautiful Norfolk Coast to capture one of the UK’s most special wildlife spectacles, the Grey Seal Pupping Season. During this period the grey seals halt onto the beach to mate and have pups.

Let me guide you through the Royal Parks of London to capture one of the UK’s largest land mammals, The Red Deer. The perfect species for your wildlife portfolio.

Wildlife for Beginners Workshop

Just getting started in wildlife photography and not sure where to begin? I will give you tips, and support tailored for beginners. Whether you’re learning how to use your camera or want to understand animal behaviour in the field, I’m here to help you kick-start your wildlife photography passion.

HEY! I’M TOM…

I am a photographer based in the South East of the UK, in the beautiful county of Kent, often called the Garden of England.

Since I was young, I’ve always been passionate about wildlife. I used to run around the garden netting butterflies (something I definitely wouldn’t do now!) and lifting up rocks to see what creepy crawlies were hiding underneath. That early curiosity turned into a lifelong obsession.

The moment photography and wildlife clicked for me was on a family holiday in Greece. We were sailing around the Greek Islands when my mum handed me her camera to keep me busy. I went to photograph one of the stunning islands and out of nowhere, a dolphin leapt out of the water. I instinctively hit the shutter. The photo was blurry and badly composed, but that moment hooked me for life.

From that point on, I never stopped photographing wildlife. Every spare moment, I’d grab my camera and head out into nature. When I turned 18, I went on to study Zoology to deepen my understanding of animal behaviour and ecology knowledge that continues to shape the way I photograph and connect with the natural world.

Now, I’m proud to be a full-time photographer and only recently launching my wildlife photography business. I’ve been incredibly lucky to travel across the UK and around the world, capturing incredible creatures from the rolling peaks of the Cairngorms to the diverse jungles of Borneo.

I hope this gives you a glimpse into who I am and what drives my work. If you’re interested in workshops, mentoring, or just want to connect, I’d love to hear from you.

Let’s explore the wild together.
