MY FAVOURITE IMAGES FROM THE IMPERIAL HOTEL

Here is a selection of my favourite images from Zoe & Joel’s wedding at the Imperial Hotel in Hythe. I photographed their day from morning preparations through to the speeches at the start of the wedding breakfast.

From a wedding photographer’s perspective, you are spoilt for choice. The gardens at the back of the hotel offer a beautiful space for couple photos. Not forgetting the beach, if you’re lucky enough to catch a sunset, the sun sets in the perfect location to create some truly romantic couple portraits.

The main staircase running through the centre of the hotel, with its incredible crystal chandelier, adds a real sense of luxury and grandeur to the venue.

The Imperial Hotel

The Hythe Imperial Hotel is a stylish and elegant venue. The hotel has a beautiful back garden with a gazebo, giving you the option to get married outside in the garden or indoors for a more traditional ceremony.

The Champagne Bar offers a lovely space for the bride and groom to enjoy some quiet time after their ceremony. It’s also the perfect place to enjoy a drink and capture some relaxed couple photos.

The ballroom is the ideal setting for hosting your wedding breakfast and evening reception. If you’re looking for a wedding venue by the sea, the Hythe Imperial Hotel is well worth a look.

DOCUMENTARY

WEDDING

PHOTOGRAPHY

I photograph weddings in a documentary style, which means I capture the moments of your special day in a natural and unobtrusive way. I believe the best photos always come when people are unaware of the camera and are 100% themselves.

Weddings should be a celebration for the bride and groom and not a long boring photo shoot. I like to blend into the day as much as possible and hopefully I will feel like one of your guests.

I won’t be showing up with multiple tripods, huge telephoto lenses or light stands. Instead, I carry just two Canon cameras attached to each hip, allowing me to stay lightweight and move swiftly to capture all the natural moments of your wedding.

All I ask is that you and your wedding party enjoy yourselves! I will make sure I am in the right place at the right time to capture all the action at your wedding!
