I think it's an amazing idea to hire a photographer to capture your proposal. It is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and it would be amazing to have it documented. Capture Your Proposal in London!
Proposals should be a special and intimate moment between you and your partner. It is a moment that should feel natural and uninterrupted. That’s why I photograph proposals in a discreet and secret manner. You can enjoy the moment whilst having it captured at the same time.
I also include a couple shoot after the proposal, where we can walk around London capturing photos of the two of you together in a relaxed and natural style. This will also give you the opportunity to have some photographs with your now-fiancé or fiancée around more of London and its iconic locations, such as South Bank, Chelsea, Kew Gardens, Hampstead Heath, Shad Thames, Borough Market, Greenwich, Camden Market, Piccadilly Circus and many more.

DELIVERY OF IMAGES
I will arrive at your chosen location extra early and capture the moment discreetly without getting caught. After you have popped the question and embraced all the emotions, we will go for a wander to capture some amazing photographs. This can last up to an hour.

London is full of iconic landmarks, including Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace (home of the monarchy), the Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, Big Ben, the London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral and many more. All these spots are very popular with tourists and also make amazing locations for anyone looking to get down on one knee and pop the question! London is a very easy city to get around, thanks to its efficient transport system. Double-decker buses, black cabs, Uber Boats on the Thames and, of course, the London Underground are all iconic symbols of the city. I love incorporating these elements into my engagement photo sessions whenever possible.

Of course! Most of my clients are visiting London from abroad and experiencing the city for the first time. As part of my package, I provide a video meeting to help plan your proposal. We will go through your vision for your engagement, and I will recommend locations, timings and offer extra advice to ensure you have the perfect proposal experience. We won’t end the call until you are completely happy with the plan.
As a photographer based in the south-east of England, just one hour from the city, I work in London frequently and will share my expert knowledge to make this experience as easy and stress-free as possible for you. Although I can't take away all the nerves, proposing is naturally a nerve-wracking experience! However, as your photographer, I will do my best to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

About your London proposal
How do we book you?
After you have completed my enquiry form, I will respond to your email within 48 hours. Check your junk folder if you haven’t heard from me. I will then encourage you to have a video call, just so we can get to know each other and I can hear more about your proposal plans. I will then cross my fingers and wait for you to confirm. Once I have confirmation, I will jump up with excitement and send over the booking process. This includes a booking form and a 50% deposit.
What is the best proposal spot in London?
London is a huge city and there are so many different locations to choose from. Have a think about what you would like your images to look like. Do you want images in front of an iconic landmark? Cobblestone streets? Overlooking a viewpoint? In a private area? In a natural and green setting? I can help you choose the best location for you.
What happens if it rains?
What is the best time of day to photograph our engagement?
The best time of day is dependent on numerous factors. If you're looking for the best light, then within two hours after sunrise or before sunset is ideal. If you want privacy at a busy location, then the earlier in the day, the better! We will have a chat to discuss what works best for you and your images.
Anything that makes you happy. The engagement photos should reflect the two of you as people and your style. I suggest wearing an outfit that makes you feel good and one that you love. We will be walking around during the engagement session so I would recommend wearing comfortable shoes and avoid bags as much as possible as they will get in the way.

Are you insured? What happens if you can't make it?
I am fully insured for both public liability and professional indemnity. In the highly unlikely event that I cannot make your wedding (it would take something incredibly serious for me not to attend), I would first ask my huge community of lovely photographers if anyone could step in to document your wedding. If this isn’t possible, I will refund all payments made beyond the deposit. This hasn’t happened yet, and I hope it never will.
