Where my love of photography started

My interest in photography was sparked by my love of wildlife. I used to spend hours in local nature reserves and in my garden, admiring UK wildlife. Wanting to record what I saw, I began taking a camera out with me. As I learned to use it more confidently, my interest grew beyond simply taking photographs. I became increasingly fascinated by how light and composition can be used to create beautiful, captivating images. This passion has since led me into a career as a full-time wedding photographer, and I hope to pursue wildlife photography professionally in the near future.

Contact Me

Since I was young, I’ve always been passionate about wildlife. I used to run around the garden netting butterflies (something I definitely wouldn’t do now!) and lifting up rocks to see what creepy crawlies were hiding underneath. That early curiosity turned into a lifelong obsession.

The moment photography and wildlife clicked for me was on a family holiday in Greece. We were sailing around the Greek Islands when my mum handed me her camera to keep me busy. I went to photograph one of the stunning islands and, out of nowhere, a dolphin leapt out of the water. I instinctively hit the shutter. The photo was blurry and badly composed, but that moment hooked me for life.

From that point on, I never stopped photographing wildlife. Every spare moment, I’d grab my camera and head out into nature. When I turned 18, I went on to study Zoology to deepen my understanding of animal behaviour and ecology, knowledge that continues to shape the way I photograph and connect with the natural world. I’ve been incredibly lucky to travel across the UK and around the world, capturing incredible creatures from the rolling peaks of the Cairngorms to the diverse jungles of Borneo.
